Penis ulcers

Penis ulcers

Penis ulcers are genital ulcers that could occur anywhere throughout the groin area damaging the scrotum to as deep as to touch the testicles, vulva, penile shaft, perianal region, penile glans, or anus.

Genital ulcers are most commonly caused by infectious agents (fungal infections, secondary bacterial infections, or sexually transmitted diseases such as genital herpes, syphilis, or chancroid).

Before learning penis ulcers, we better be finding the definition of an ulcer. An ulcer is an open sore of the skin, eyes, or mucous membrane, often caused by an initial abrasion and generally maintained by an inflammation and/or an infection.

By the definition of ulcers, we can come to an understanding of what penis ulcer is or what it would look like. The opening of skin into a hole or damaged skin texture on the penile body due to inflammation or infection is what compounds penis ulcers.

Penis ulcers also include foreskin blisters. The ulcers in the male urethra are categorized to be penis ulcers.

The itchy and painful ulceration on the penis is what elaborately defines penis ulcers.

Symptoms like painful urination and abnormal discharge from the penis occur. Men may feel testicular pain, too.

During penis ulcers, forget about sexual intercourse, it could even be hard to erect the penile body. The erection needs the penis to become big with all the stretch and strain of the penile skin, flesh, and muscles.

An ulcer-affected penis may not be able to handle the stretch of its body due to sexual stimulations or erection.
