Salad
Starting with one of the easiest appetizers that you can probably make is a bowl of salad. Adding some incredible seasonal vegetables you can make your perfect valentines day salad.
Ingredients:
- 1 huge beet
- 2 cups blended plate of mixed greens
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, or to taste
- salt to taste
Directions to prepare:
- Place beet in a pot, cover with water, and heat to the point of boiling. Diminish heat and stew until beet is cooked through, around 30 minutes.
- Strip the beet and cut it into 1/4-inch thick cuts. Remove red hearts utilizing a heart-moulded cutout.
- Place salad greens in a bowl. Sprinkle with olive oil and season with salt. Add beet hearts to the plate of mixed greens and throw. Put two or three red hearts on top of the plate of mixed greens for serving.
Heart-Shaped Pizza
What says love more than a heart-shaped pizza, add a glass of wine with your pizza to make it even more delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 pound arranged pizza batter, ideally entire wheat
- Generally useful flour for rolling
- Cornmeal for sprinkling
- ½ cup arranged marinara sauce
- 1 cup destroyed part-skim mozzarella cheddar
Direction to prepare:
- Position rack in the least spot in the stove and spot a pizza stone on the rack. Preheat to 450°F.
- Slice red bell pepper down the middle upward. Eliminate stem and seeds. Cut vertical cuts so each takes after a half-heart shape.
- Fold batter into a 12-inch circle on a daintily floured surface. Move to a pizza strip sprinkled with cornmeal. Cut a wide V shape at the highest point of the circle. Round out the tops on one or the other side of the V and pull and squeeze the lower part of the circle to a point, so the batter looks like a heart.
- Spread sauce uniformly over the batter. Top with cheddar. Orchestrate sets of the pepper cuts to make heart shapes on top of the cheddar. Move to the warmed pizza stone. Heat until the outside is fresh and brilliant and the cheddar is dissolved for 13 to 14 minutes.
